In his latest series ​faces​, although he applies enumeration and accumulation of the motifs, he strictly avoids himself to apply any special operations towards the camera. The scenes and motifs become straightforward documentation of one’s daily life, however full of surprisement by succeeding to emphasize a delightful impressive moment.

While OKABE’s work introduces things and scenes we are familiar of and have seen before, they reappear in front of us with a brand new face and expression.  We all hope you enjoy the stimulating amazement throughout this exhibtion.
